About China
China, officially the People’s Republic of China, is a country in East Asia. By the way, Confucian and Taoist philosophies also emerged during Zhou dynasty. In the 3rd century BC, the Chinese Empire was established and existed until the beginning of the 20th century. During this period, Chinese territory expanded rapidly, became a thriving empire, and for several centuries was the most powerful country in Asia. It’s culture, economics, politics, medicine and military power reached an exceptionally advanced level. In addition, during this time, gunpowder, paper, printing and compass were invented. At the beginning of the 20th century, imperial rule, which had lasted more than two thousand years, was terminated and China became a Republic.
